InterRegio 1683

Eine der äußerlich schönsten Zuggattungen der modernen Bahn wurde Ende der Achtziger Jahre des letzten Jahrtausends eingeführt: Der InterRegio. Seit dem Fahrplanwechsel zum 15. Dezember 2002 sind die IRs leider schon wieder Geschichte, Grund genug, um uns einmal näher mit diesen Zügen zu befassen.

EC 66 Maurice Ravel

Der EC 66 brachte die Fahrgäste von München (07:42 Uhr) nach Paris Est (16:22 Uhr), Stuttgart wurde um 10:07 Uhr erreicht. Hier erfolgte ein Lok- und Richtungswechsel, da es sich beim Stuttgarter Bahnhof ja bekanntlich um einen Kopfbahnhof handelt. Gebildet wurde der Zug stilrein mit Wagen in ICE-Farben.
